At Qosqo Trips S.A.C. (hereinafter, “Qosqo Trips”) we take care of our travelers' personal data. This policy explains what data we collect when you write to us on WhatsApp, book on qosqotrips.com or contact us by any other means, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Law No. 29733, Peru's Personal Data Protection Law, and its regulations.

2. What data we collect
- Contact details: name, phone number, WhatsApp profile name and email address.
- Trip details: dates, number of passengers, ages of minors who travel, nationality, tours of interest, preferences and special requests.
- Booking data: full names and document or passport number of each passenger, required to buy entrance tickets, train tickets and other services that demand them (for example, Machu Picchu).
- Conversations: the content of the messages you send us on WhatsApp and other channels.
- Payment data: card payments are processed through the Izipay gateway; Qosqo Trips does not store your full card numbers.
- Browsing data: basic technical information and cookies from our website and, if you arrive through an ad, the campaign identifier.
3. What we use your data for
- Answering your inquiries, building your travel program and sending you quotes.
- Managing your booking: buying entrance tickets, trains and other services, coordinating with guides, carriers and operators, and sending you confirmations and pre-trip information.
- Assisting you during and after the tour, including satisfaction surveys.
- Complying with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- With your consent, sending you news and promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Virtual assistant on WhatsApp
Our WhatsApp has an artificial-intelligence virtual assistant that answers inquiries, quotes programs and records your request. The assistant always identifies itself as a virtual assistant, and at any time you can ask for a person on our team to assist you. Messages are processed with Anthropic's artificial-intelligence service (Claude), solely to generate the replies in the conversation.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We only share it when necessary to provide the service:
- Travel providers: guides, carriers, hotels, restaurants, train companies and entities that issue entrance tickets (for example, the Ministry of Culture for Machu Picchu).
- Technology providers: Meta (WhatsApp), Anthropic (AI assistant), Railway (server where the assistant runs), Izipay (payments), Google (email and documents) and our website hosting.
- Authorities: when required by law.
Some of these providers have their servers outside Peru (for example, in the United States or the European Union). In those cases, the transfer is carried out to fulfill the service you requested and with providers that apply adequate security measures.
6. How long we keep your data
- Conversations and inquiries that do not end in a booking: up to 24 months from the last contact.
- Booking and payment data: for as long as Peruvian tax and accounting rules require.
- Data for promotions: until you withdraw your consent.
7. Your rights
You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, cancellation (deletion) and objection, as well as withdraw your consent, by writing to info@qosqotrips.com or to our WhatsApp with the subject “Personal data”. We will reply within the deadlines established by law. If you believe we have not handled your request, you may go to the National Authority for Personal Data Protection of Peru's Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.
8. How to delete your data
To ask us to delete your data and conversations, send a message to info@qosqotrips.com or to our WhatsApp stating your name and phone number. We will delete your information, except what we must keep due to a legal obligation (for example, payment receipts), and we will confirm when it is done.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: restricted access for our team, encrypted connections and providers with recognized security standards.
10. Minors
The data of minors who travel with us is provided by their father, mother or guardian, and is used only to organize the trip.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will always publish the current version on this page, with its update date.
