The Lima Miraflores City Tour combines, in one morning, modern seaside Lima with the capital's colonial Historic Center.
History and importance of the Lima City Tour
Lima's Historic Center, founded in 1535, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (1988). The tour links that viceregal Lima with Miraflores, home to the Love Park overlooking the Pacific and Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca ceremonial center in the middle of a modern district. You will visit Plaza San Martín, the Plaza de Armas and the San Francisco Convent with its catacombs, and finish with a pisco sour tasting: an introduction to the gastronomic capital of Latin America.
Altitude: Lima lies on the Pacific coast, practically at sea level. There are no altitude effects.
